About Planetpeople

OUR STORY

India’s cities are changing. The question is: what kind of future are we building?

Every day, Urban India grows—new homes rise, roads expand, businesses flourish and millions of people arrive in search of opportunity. But beneath this remarkable growth are challenges that cannot be solved one at a time: polluted air, disappearing green spaces, inadequate housing, unequal access to healthcare, gaps in education, and communities increasingly vulnerable to a changing climate.

These challenges are deeply connected. And they demand a connected response.

Planet People was born from this belief.

We are building a movement that brings people, communities, institutions and ideas together to address some of the fundamental challenges facing Urban India—and to turn them into opportunities for meaningful, lasting change.

Our work focuses on four interconnected pillars: Healthcare, Education, Sustainable Housing and the Environment.

We believe healthcare is not only about treating illness, but about creating healthier communities. Education is not simply about classrooms, but about giving people the knowledge, skills and confidence to shape their future. Housing is more than four walls—it is dignity, security and a foundation for a better life. And protecting the environment is not separate from development; it is essential to the health and prosperity of every community.

Our ambition is to help create cities where people can live with dignity, learn with opportunity, grow in good health and thrive in harmony with nature.

We know that no single organisation can solve the complex challenges of a rapidly changing India. Real transformation happens when people come together—with compassion, courage, innovation and a shared sense of responsibility.

Planet People is our commitment to that journey.

Because a healthier planet begins with healthier people.

And a better future begins with all of us.
